KidChat Family Alpha
Status: Early Access. You are one of a small group of invited families testing KidChat while we finish the safety work.
What works today
- Parent account, onboarding and family setup
- Up to 4 child profiles with avatars and usernames
- Screen time rules, limits, windows and breaks
- Parent dashboard: activity, progress and safety review
- Safety Gate, Privacy Shield and approved-model routing on the server
Switched off on purpose
- Voice: dictation, read-aloud and voice previews
- Billing and payments — there is no charge during the test period
Real child access opens only when our safety controls are confirmed. Until then, a child profile sees a friendly waiting screen instead of a conversation.
